Help us to help Florida
Dollars spent due to invasive species in Florida
Invasive species have cost Florida a significant amount of money. Iguanas burrowing underground, can even cause buildings to collapse.

Research and Innovation
We are demonstrating how researchers and new technologies are working together to track invasive species.

Our Mission
TEAN is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating communities about invasive species. We raise awareness, provide practical solutions, and empower individuals to protect native ecosystems through social media and hands-on training.
Current Events & Projects

Deerfield Beach Clean-up
Join us for our Annual Deerfield Beach Underwater Pier Clean-up in June. This is a huge opportunity to not only go on a beautiful dive, but to help protect our ocean and marine life from plastic and debris.

Invasive Species Education
We train and educate kids and adults alike, on catching iguanas and other invasive species.
These pests are flooding into Florida, and cause millions of dollars in damage.

Monitoring Fish Levels
Electro-fishing is the new go to method for scientists to monitor Fish levels. With the correct permits, these experts inject an electrical charge into the water, which causes the fish to float to the surface. At the surface, they are collected, measured, and freed
